One of our  missions  is to help  with  safer  sex education and free confidential  testing  around  town. As of now we have several  options  for  this  so,  we thought we would share.  All  are Free,  Confidential  and a service you  deserve.  

Center for Health Empowerment

The Center for Health Empowerment offers educational services and FDA approved medical treatments at no cost. The CHE wellness clinic provides PrEP and PEP medications, HEP C treatment, STI screening, prevention and treatment, and continuing care. We work with community partners to help eligible participants find community resources for transportation, housing, mental health, and substance abuse. Our navigators provide personalized, caring support at all stages of care. While we serve everyone, our focus population is men, women, and transgender persons of color who are at a higher risk of contracting sexually transmitted infections.)

The Kind Clinic

They offer the following sexual health services to our PrEP and PEP patients and their sexual and needle sharing partners at low to no cost: PrEP / PEP access, HIV & STI testing, STI treatment, general wellness exams, navigation and medication access services. The Clinic also offers gender affirming care medical appointments to our transgender and gender nonconforming patients at no cost.

AIDS Services of Austin's Testing and Linkage to Care Team has expanded FREE HIV testing to The Q two times a week.

Aids Services of Austin

Last year, ASA provided more than 1,600 HIV tests free of charge to Central Texans. Call 512-458-TEST (8378) to find out about testing times and locations. Our TLC Testing Team offers regular FREE testing at community events and other testing sites.

C.A.R.E
(Community AIDS Resources and Education)

C.A.R.E. offers HIV, Hepatitis C and Syphilis testing at no cost to the consumer and testing is provided in the community, as well as at C.A.R.E.’s office location during both appointment and walk-in testing times. Harm reduction materials (condoms, needle and pipe cleaning kits, brochures, etc.) are also available at no cost to the public.
