Why we summit

We organize the Beyond Brothas Summit to create a vital space where men of color can connect, share, and grow together. Research shows that community engagement and culturally affirming events can significantly reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, while also fostering a strong sense of identity and belonging. By participating in this summit, attendees are not only building valuable professional networks that can lead to higher-paying jobs and career advancement, but they are also reinforcing their resilience against the challenges they face. Our goal is to combat the isolation that can lead to serious health issues, and instead, empower men of color with the support and connections they need to thrive.
